Blue Ribbon is committed to producing quality stockfeed and supplements for Queensland livestock producers. Blue Ribbon Stockfeeds produces a range of superior products alongside expert customer support and on farm solutions. Founded in 2010 by Andrew and Liz Childes, Blue Ribbon is an Australian owned company using Australian grown products in all their feeds.
Andrew Childes, Nutritional Advisor and Managing Director of Blue Ribbon Stockfeeds, knows the rural industry. He spent his childhood on a dairy farm outside Oakey, west of Toowoomba, finding out first-hand the effect animal nutrition has on milk production. While working on the Dairy farm Andrew completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Production (majoring in Animal Nutrition and Genetics) through UQ in Gatton.
Andrew works closely with Jim Wade (Wade Agricultural Consultants) to design feeds that include newly developed ingredients that will benefit the animal’s health, wellbeing and aid in increasing production. They both keep up to date with changing technology, and also offer educational nutrition seminars throughout the year.
